Program Description
In pursuit of a Ph.D. in Psychology, you'll choose one of three concentrations: clinical psychology; cognition and neural systems; or social psychology. Leading-edge research opportunities are fully integrated into coursework, and because of the small number of Ph.D. candidates admitted each year, students get to work closely with faculty. As part of the College of Science's School of Mind, Brain and Behavior (MBB), the doctoral program maintains a strong research-oriented approach and scientifically derived knowledge base. This means your academics benefit from meaningful interdisciplinary collaborations with other MBB departments, like Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, and Speech, Language and Hearing Science.
