Enroll in SERP 549: Introduction to School Psychology and select two additional courses from the selected list of courses below (note that some courses may have prerequisites):

SERP 512: School and Community Violence: Crisis Prevention, Intervention, and Response
SERP 517: Behavior Modification (if enrolled in an applied degree program, such as Clinical Psychology or Special Education)
SERP 601: Cognition and Development
SERP 559: Diversity in School Psychology
SERP 685: Behavior Disorders and Adjustment
SERP 686: Child Psychotherapy (if enrolled in an Applied Psychology degree program, such as Clinical Psychology; SERP 685 or the equivalent is a pre-requisite)
SERP 696c: Professional Standards, Ethics, & Issues in School Psychology--Spring
SERP 696b: Neuropsychological Basis of Behavior & Learning--Spring

Fingerprint Clearance Requirement
SERP549 (required for a minor) and SERP517 include a field experience in a school district.  Enrollment in these classes is contingent upon obtaining an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.  If you are denied an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card, you will not be able to enroll in the program, as it is a requirement in Arizona for all adults working in schools in any capacity. 

Written Examination Requirement
This requirement will consist of one of the following (in consultation with minor advisor):
1. Written examination covering the field of school psychology and selected coursework
2. Written paper (approximately 15 pages) on a selected topic decided between the student and minor advisor; quality consistent with publication
3. Take home examination
