Doctor of Philosophy

The doctoral curriculum for the School Psychology program is designed to prepare you for leadership positions that involve applying psychological principles to improve student outcomes. Upon graduation, you will be prepared to assume roles that may involve research, scholarship or practice. You will experience a range of training and research opportunities that aim to increase your competence in school psychology and your ability to function as an effective professional who collaborates well with individuals from different disciplines and celebrates diversity. The program is accredited by the American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists and leads to Arizona certification.
