The Second Language Acquisition and Teaching Ph.D. program provides rigorous doctoral-level training for researchers, teacher-researchers and administrators whose interests lie in second language acquisition and applied linguistics. The program utilizes a strong interdisciplinary approach that examines how second languages are learned, used and maintained. You will graduate with the knowledge and skills needed to carry out high-quality research and offer practical solutions to real-world linguistic problems.
