Program Description

Learn about special education and rehabilitation while preparing for a high-demand career with the highly specialized Special Education master's program. Choose from the specialty tracks: Deaf and Hard of Hearing; Mild to Moderate Disabilities; Severe and Multiple Disabilities; Visual Impairment; or Applied Behavioral Analysis. There is a Special Education Accelerated Master's Program available to students in the junior year of the Bachelor of Science Mild to Moderate Disabilities program. Enjoy opportunities for internships and research and learn to build sustainable and equitable educational practices. Careers include resource classroom teacher, itinerant teacher, self-contained classroom teacher, parent advisor and early intervention specialist.
