Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
The course sequence required is determined by the Foundations Writing Evaluation (link).

Two course sequence:
1. Writing 101 or 101A or 107
2. Writing 102 or 108

One course sequence:
1. Writing 109H* or Writing 305
* A grade of C or higher is required in Writing 109H to satisfy the requirement with this course.

Three course sequence:
1. Writing 106
2. Writing 107**
3. Writing 108**
**Upon recommendation of the Writing Program students who complete Writing 106 may take:
- Writing 101 or 101A instead of Writing 107

Studio Art Degree Requirements

The BFA Exhibition is a requirement for graduation for all BFA Studio Art Majors.

Complete 9 units. IDA students should take ART 265 and ART 266. PVI students should take ART 244, ART 246, and ART 248. 2D students should take ART 200.

An Emphasis is required for this major. Please consult your advisor.

Select 1 from the following emphases: Two Dimensional Emphasis or 3D and Extended Media Emphasis or Photography, Video, and Imaging Emphasis or Illustration, Design & Animation Emphasis.
Entrance into the BFA degree program requires advanced standing. Students must have a 3.0 GPA in their major coursework to be eligible. Entrance requirements are available at the School of Art homepage.
Emphasis course work is pre-approved by Faculty Mentor.
