Student needs to complete 3 courses from one of the focus areas or a coherent set of 3 courses from TLS course offerings that meet the students’ interests and goals.  Focus areas include: 

• Children's and Young Adult Literature

• Critical Youth Studies

• Early Childhood Education: Young Children, Family, and Community

• Indigenous Studies, Education, and Language Education

• Languages and Literacies

• Science, Mathematics, and Environmental Education

• Social Justice in Education
