  • course: Advanced Chemical Engineering Transport Phenomena (3)

  • course: Advanced Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics (3)

  • course: Advanced Chemical Reaction Engineering (3)

Thesis MS:

  • course: Chemical Engineering (1) - taken each semester (4+ units)

  • course: Thesis (5)

Non-thesis MS:

  • course: Chemical Engineering (1) - taken each semester (2+ units)

  • course: Research (4)

And one of the following options:

Minimum GPA in all coursework is 3.0

Completion requirement

Nine (9) units of electives are required to complete the program. Elective courses are determined at the discretion of the individual student and the student's faculty advisor, usually relevant to the student's research. CHEE courses from which students may choose are:
