  • Qualifying and Comprehensive Exams are required.

  • Thesis is required.

  • Transfer of Credit: Graduate credit from other institutions can only be transferred if the student was enrolled in a graduate program at the time the credit was earned. In any case, no more than six units of graduate credit are transferable. Transfer of credit will be accepted only if endorsed in writing by the Classics Department Director of Graduate Studies. No credit is allowed for courses graded lower than B or S (= "Superior") for courses taken pass/fail, or for audited courses.
