After completing the first semester of coursework, students will be eligible for internship placement at an area clinical site continuing until the student completes the required 300 hours of client contact. Internship sites are approved by faculty. All students will be supervised by a state-licensed marriage and family therapist during these internships.
Capstone project will be required for all students. They will make a final presentation based on clinical casework supported by research findings which will be evaluated by HECL faculty.
